We added Kaydee Lorraine Laws to our Family on September 9, 2009 (09-09-09!)
She is so beautiful and we are so happy to have her!

Six Months Later...

So, six months ago, on April 23, 2009, I had to have some hand surgery, stitches, a pin, and physical therapy.
My hand actually looks really well, and I've almost got full use of it back, (it isn't quite as strong as it used to be, but that's all!)
I don't have a lot of pics of it, but I do have a couple.
Thank you to all those who helped out in my time of need!

Updates!!

Ok, I FINALLY have some updates for you! I hope you enjoy them!

Yehaw!

While helping me clean up, Jamie showed AJ how much fun it was to ride the vacuum cleaner. He taught him to say, "Yehaw" as he was being pushed around. It was so much fum to see the look on that precious little boy's face as he screamed, "Yehaw" over the sound of the running vacuum. What a funny kid!

Jayla's Birthday Party

For Jayla's birthday party this year we did a "Snow Theme". We had a snowman cake and we decorated snowman cookies. We also played a few games and had a pinata. Although we had 12 kids at the party, I felt that it went really smoothly! I can't wait until next year's party!

Jayla's Birthday Cake

This is the cake I made for Jayla this year. It wasn't as involved as last year's cake, but I still thought it was pretty cute!

Fear Factor: Garden House Style

For the Garden House Christmas party, they did a Fear Factor theme. Jamie wanted to do it. (SO GROSS!!!)
They had several rounds. Some of the rounds were as follows:
Pickled herring, oysters, Cow Tongue, Cow stomach (tripe), larvae, pigs' feet, tuna fish/oyster milkshake, habanero pepper. I'm sure there was more, but I can't think of them right now.
Jamie got out on the tuna fish milkshake. He also had some trouble with some of the things because of his braces: it was hard for him to chew. I was impressed with how long he made it! It was SOOOOO NASTY!!!

I came home from water aerobics and found that the kids had fallen asleep while watching a movie. I didn't have the heart to move them! SO SWEET!! ( I hope they remember this when they are teenagers!)

Jayla's Turn!

My sweet, wonderful husband gave me a new camera for Christmas. Jayla BEGS me everyday to be able to take pictures. I finally had a bout of insanity and allowed it. She walked around snapping pictures of everything she could see. She told me that she wanted to take pictures of all her toys... which she did... one at a time!
I loved her enthusiasm, so I wanted to share the pictures with you!
